Dear Parents,

I hope this email finds you well.

As we approach the end of the school year, I wanted to let you know that students will no longer have any more tests or homework. That said, regular classroom routines will continue, including learning activities and projects.


Important Upcoming Dates

🚌 Tuesday, June 3 – Downey’s Farm Outing
We are excited to visit Downey’s Farm for a fun day of learning and exploration!

What to Bring:

  • Dress for the weather (hats, sunscreen, layered clothing if needed)
  • Any necessary medication (e.g., puffers, EpiPens)
  • Two full water bottles – there will be no refill stations at the farm
  • A full lunch (nut-free)
  • Comfortable running shoes (no sandals allowed)

Schedule:

  • Departure from school: around 9:30 AM
  • Return: approximately 2:30 PM

If you are one of the parent volunteers attending, please reach out so I can help organize student groups for safety.


🏊 Wednesday, June 4 – Swim to Survive Program
Students will participate in the Swim to Survive program. Please ensure they are well-prepared with the following items:

What to Bring:

  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Change of clothing (including underwear and socks)
  • Plastic or reusable bag for wet clothes
  • Goggles (optional)
  • Flip flops or water shoes (optional, for walking to and from the pool deck)
  • Hair tie for long hair (recommended)
  • Hairbrush or comb (optional)
