Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the school year comes to an end, I would like to sincerely thank you for your support during my time at Corsair.

I will be returning to the TDSB next year, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to spend these last 3 months teaching in the PDSB and getting to know your children. Thank you for welcoming me into your school community. It has been a pleasure working with your children and watching them learn and grow.

A few reminders:

• There will be no more Learning Updates posted on the website after this one. Learning will continue until June 24–25.
• No additional homework will be assigned.
• Students will be spending this week and next week cleaning up the classroom and ensuring that all personal belongings are taken home, including homework folders, duotangs, black binders, and any other personal items.
• We are hoping to have a class party on the afternoon of Thursday, June 25. I will provide an update by Tuesday and send home any necessary forms at that time. Please note that the party will only take place if students continue demonstrating positive behaviour and earning class points. They currently have 5.5 out of 11 points as a class. If the class does not earn enough points, the party will not take place.
• Next week is Corsair Spirit Week:
  • Monday: Jersey Day
  • Tuesday: Sunglasses and Beach Day
  • Wednesday: Funky Hat/Hair Day
  • Thursday: Cultural Dress Day
  • Friday: Corsair Colours Day (Blue and Yellow)
