- Homework for Next Week
Homework for next week will be sent home today. Please check your child’s cahier de devoirs for details and due dates. Some tasks are due this coming Monday, while others are due on Friday, May 9th. - Monthly Transformation Award
Students are regularly reminded to stay consistent in their learning and behavior in order to earn a Transformation Award. I’m confident that we’ll see several students recognized next month for their growth and dedication. - Learning updates will be posted soon.
- EQAO Preparation and Upcoming Dates
EQAO dates are currently being finalized. A letter with detailed information regarding dates and expectations will be sent home either this week or next.
To help your child prepare, I continue to recommend the following:
- Students may bring home their Math Makes Sense book to review. Please ensure it is returned to school, as it is school property.
- Students can request to take home their green duotang to review all completed quizzes in both math and language.
- I’ve uploaded PDF files of past EQAO tests under the “Resources” section. Students are welcome to complete these in their math notebook for extra practice.

- May Curriculum Focus
The month of May will be a busy one as we work to cover all remaining areas of the math and language curriculum. Rather than focusing on quizzes, we’ll be prioritizing daily practice to ensure that key concepts are introduced and reinforced. In math, we will be covering geometry and measurement, while continuing to explore various components of the language curriculum through reading, writing, and grammar activities.
