For the French Quiz Part 1, students are expected to know the following:

• The verbs être (to be) and avoir (to have):
  • How to conjugate these verbs in the present tense.
  • How to remember the spelling of the conjugations.
• Pronouns:
  Students should be able to use sentences with correct pronouns such as je, tu, il/elle, nous, vous, ils/elles.
• The Pink Panther Melody:
  Students have learned the Pink Panther melody to help remember the conjugations of être and avoir. They can sing it for you!
